Most sellers don’t know that they are able to respond to negative feedback (actually you can respond to all feedback). Sometimes it is important to tell your side of the story or explaining your position when receiving a “neg”. Keep in mind that your response really isn’t for the buyer who left you the negative feedback. Your response is for future potential buyers who may be looking at your feedback. You want to instill confidence in them that you are professional and that you fix any problems that may occur with items you sell.
