Yeah somewhat, but it may get spread around a bit beyond a given station though. RE: Paper Towel order are worth their weight in gold - Lifebeholder - 06-03-2020 I still don't understand the paper shortage, it happened here, but I have not had to worry about it at all. I also hardly ever use paper towels, it takes awhile for those to get used up in my home. I guess I am hoping the supply and demand and then over abundance happens in the store and they mark that stuff down. I will be in there buying it all up at a cheaper price and stockpiling it for the next big disaster that happens in what another 10 years LOL. I wish raises would keep going up, I have one job no increase in pay for almost for 2 years and they want to increase minimum wage, but it doesn't mean anything when the rest of us are going to demand an increase as well, that will just cancel everything out and then prices are just going to be even more higher for things. Get tax money and magically things in the store now cost more amazing how that works. More money doesn't make it better. I don't see a lot of prices actually drop, unless it is getting clearance out or the grocery stores having sales for just a week. I keep hoping everyone will get their fill and the supply would start catching back up. Sadly not as of yet at least not around Houston Texas. They were showing on the news yesterday how to make clorox type disinfectant wipes because they are still no where to be found. RE: Paper Towel order are worth their weight in gold - Lifebeholder - 06-03-2020 Another thing that gets to me and I have seen even cleaning people do it. Is to disinfect something they spray and wipe it down immediately. If you actually read the directions on some disinfecting products you need to wait like 10 minutes. I guess you can wet it and wipe things down, but just wiping something right up doesn't give it enough time to disinfect. I wouldn't worry to much about the paper towels we have not always had them. And it could be more laundry, but there are alternatives and with the nice warm weather, you can even partially clothes line dry them and just finish them in the dryer for like 10 minutes if you want to make sure they get a quick heat treatment. |
