Now in order to earn any ad revenue from your videos the Youtube creator has to have 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time within a rolling 12 month period. This is a pretty steep hurdle to climb and a crushing blow to someone who did not meet those metrics but had previously been able to earn some revenue from their videos.
Shortly after these rules changes I posted a video on my channel and created a post on my website to help small Youtubers break that 1,000 sub mark. I invited small Youtubers, those under 1,000 subs, to submit their channel to a list that could help them get more subs. Youtube does not allow a sub4sub type system but their is nothing wrong with encouraging community members to help each other out especially in a way that is not detrimental to you at all... all you have to do is click a little red button.
The purpose of this post is to use this forum instead of the page on my website to help these small Youtubers.
If you have a Youtube channel that is under 1,000 subs feel free to leave a reply with a link to your channel and a short description of what your channel is about. As the list grows I would encourage you to also look through the list for any channels you may be interested in subscribing to. I will try to remove channels after they reach 1,000 subscribers. If your channel is one the list and you reach 1,000 subscribers please come back and delete your post so others have a better opportunity to get to 1,000 also.
Hi! I run a gaming channel called GrumbleGamer18! I recently actually lost control of my main account, where I had over 1.8k subscribers and was monetized. YouTube was unwilling to do anything to help me, so now my channel is in whoever’s hands that currently has it, unless they decide to give it back by some miracle, or I pay someone to ethically hack it and get it back for me.
I’ve been creating content for over 4 years, making gaming videos, unboxings, and more! I created a new channel where I will be uploading any of my videos I have archived, as well as all of my new content, so it would mean a lot if I could get some help getting back to where I once was!
I mainly play indie horror games, usually lesser known up-and-coming ones that I find to have a lot of work, or passion put into them. I also review games upon request of developers!
