That is a nice set of blades. Diablo makes the best recip blades. Sadly no where near Houston.

I bought some HF blades not to long ago and they seemed to do the job. Is there really that big of a difference between blades?

I am not really sure. I guess it comes down to how much the blades get used.

As long as they are comparable in the type of blades I believe so. Carbide blade from Diable compared to a carbide blade from Harbor Freight for example
