I get asked 2 questions fairly often. The first is "What do you do for a living?" And the answer to that is pretty simple, "You're looking at it." I run Struggleville.net and the associated Youtube channel, TheStruggleville. Since I was a teenager I sold items on eBay then at one point added Amazon. Most of the time it was just supplemental income to my crappy near minimum wage hourly job. For a few years my full income came from just selling online. Amazon started changing policies that made it harder for me to make money and my website was starting to do better and better so here we are.
The second question I get more often than I'd like "Do you even use your tools?" I do. Obviously, as stated above, I am not a professional tradesman of any sort. I like doing projects, building stuff, working on my cars and tinkering. Do I own more tools than I need? Hell yes, I have 5 1/4" impact drivers... I need only 1. But I own all of these tools because of the AMAZING deals I am able to find and share with visitors to this site. Often times I am able to purchase deals that are posted and resell the items for more than what I paid for them and in the case of kits or sets I can keep a few items for myself without being out of pocket.
(BTW, I know a guy who keeps a toaster oven on his toolbox. I hope the same people who ask me if I use my tools are asking him that question too. ?)
