Reader's Rides! - PJ - 05-21-2020

Lets see what you guys are driving!  I want to see them all.  The fixed up classics.  The projects.  The jacked up trucks.  The rust buckets.  The A-to-B beaters.  The daily drivers. The 1/4 mile machines and the trailer queens!

I'll start with mine.  2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Midnight Edition.  1966 Caprice.  1973 Corvette.  1967 Mustang.

Nice collection.

My current ride is not too exciting.  I am planning to buy a truck soon.

Thanks bud! Bought it when I was 14 for $600. No engine, no trans and a total rust bucket. My dad and I restored it over the span of a couple of years. 20 years later and its about time for a lot of things to get fixed again but I love that car.

I guess I need to get a picture of my "exciting" fleet. I have

2011 Ford Expedition EL XLT (my softball/getaway/family vehicle)
2010 Chevy Cobalt (my commuter vehicle - 45 miles each way to work)
2004 F-150 (my I wanted a 4x4/truck to do truck stuff with when needed)

You got that thing pretty well torn apart, looks like a lot of upgrades too.  What all have you done to it?  (Or them)

I understand needing to do truck stuff. I owned my Terrain for about 5 years after trading in a little Ranger and countless times I wish I had that truck back because I couldnt do this or that without the truck.

Nice LED light bar tucked in there btw!

Yeah, I have a utility trailer in the backyard that I would hook up to my Expedition if I needed to do truck stuff, but it is a bit more convenient to use the pickup.  Not to mention the occasional need for 4 wheel drive.  Sometimes I don't even really need 4 wheel drive, but low range is definitely a big help in certain circumstances.

I am 99% sure that the light bar came from a deal I got on your site (big shock right? Smile ).  It literally fit PERFECT in there.  There are actually 2 small little grills that are on both sides of the light bar, and this light bar fit in the open space PERFECTLY.
