Whats up with these Youtube ads? - PJ - 06-16-2020
I don't know what is going on with Youtube today but I have watched 4-5 videos and every single one of them has started with a non-skippable ad. At least 2 videos made me watch 2 ads before the video started and one ad was over 2 minutes long! This on a video that was only 5-6 minutes long itself.
I have never seen this. Its a really awful user experience.

I’ve noticed a shitload of ads in all videos the last couple months. I figured it was just a way for Youtubers to make up for some money they lost due to changes in the ‘agreement’.

I think Youtube changed something. I even tried turning on my ad blocker which has always blocked Youtube ads in the past but the ads still played even with it on.
