Battle of the Tools: Adjustable Wrench vs. Pipe Wrench vs. Tongue/Groove Pliers - PJ - 05-24-2020 Which do you choose?  The adjustable wrench, the pipe wrench or the tongue and groove pliers? Here's the deal, its a zombie apocalypse brought on from a pandemic originating out of China.  The world is going to shit and your people just found an abandon apartment building they plan on using to restart civilization.  You are the community handyman.  It is your responsibility to keep this place up and running.  The zombies are closing in on your location, before running inside you have just enough time to grab ONE tool.... the ONLY tool you will have to repair and rebuild the apartment building. Which are you going for?  The adjustable wrench?  Nuts and bolts of all sizes will be no match for you.  The pliers? Give it a squeeze then grip and rip!  Or the pipe wrench?  Depending on the conditions and needs once you are inside a pipe wrench may not be the most practical choice... however it is a halfway decent hammer in a pinch! Found a set of Knipex 10” pliers years ago and I use those like Franks Redhot...I’ve put that #@&$ on everything. They are the easiest to use and are very useful in so many applications.
