changing posting viewing date?

wondered how you can change the viewing date in a thread? For instance,   Struggleville Forum  AMAZING Deals!  Off Topic Deals   Daily Deals From DealGenius    the oldest post shows first, I don't want to see old stuff first but the newest and most relevant posts.

If you look along the same line as the title, in the lists of posts, on the right you will see a link that says "Last post" if you click that it will take you to the newest post.
