Key being now.  There is always a future person for a given job.  That is fine.  I have plans of continuing to move up so its all good.

My director and I are about the same age, so I am probably locked into where I am.  Which is fine with me.

That works too.  Many people find a specific spot and stick with it.    I just have to see what the plans look like when we get back to work.   Have to be ready for the next opportunity.  Hopefully it will be closer to home.

Well don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind advancing but I don't see it happening because I don't think my director is going anywhere.  That's ok though.  I like him, we get along well, I think he respects me for what I do, and I am happy with my pay.
