Selling clothes on eBay can be very profitable. Clothes have a lot of qualities that make them a great starter item for eBay sellers. They are everywhere, they can be had cheap (thrift stores), they sell well, they are easy to ship, they are cheap to ship.
This is why a lot of new eBay sellers start with clothes. One of my most popular Youtube videos ever is a video on how to easily and cheaply ship clothes. A few things have changed since I made the video. The first is First Class Mail now goes up to 16 ounces whereas at the time of the video the limit was 13 ounces. Also, First Class Mail now works like any other mailing service where the farther the item is going from where you ship it, the more its going to cost. Other than that the principles in the video are still correct just some of the numbers aren't anymore.
