This isn't the first time I've noticed my DeWALT 3/8 impact wrench has more power than my Bosch 1/2 impact. It just surprises me, the Bosch is brushless and 1/2 it just has no guts.

It is just not designed to be used as a impact wrench even though it has the 1/2" square drive. Sadly the internals of this impact driver just don't compare to a impact wrench even an old one. The IPM rating of each tool should tell the tale.

Even that KIMO impact driver I did a video on was able to remove remove the truck lugs, barely, but they are torqued at 140 ft lbs. These lugs on the Caprice are just 100ft lbs.
So damn weak. |
