Looks like only a couple of free items again this week at Menards. Another hand sanitizer item and a… book.
Considering this is about the 5th time they have had hand sanitizer free with no limit on how many you can buy I’m assuming they over played their hand on that one. And no I don’t think they are giving it out for free in any altruistic sense because they still charge you for a mask if you don’t have one. I am not completely surprised by the lack of free items, if you look through the ads you will see they have almost no rebates available at all.
They did 11% for almost a year straight and I have seen reports of people just not getting 11% rebates back that they sent back in August. Probably giving the processors a chance to catch up then HOPEFULLY we will resume normal program. Remember if Menards does an 11% sale after these ads then you can submit an 11% price adjustment for anything you bought the previous 2 weeks. This means your free item would be a money maker because you would get 11% on the before rebate price. All the current ads are ending on 2/13 so in theory we could see an 11% sale on 2/14.
