At one time (maybe still?) selling coffee mugs was a very popular topic on Youtube. People thought they were going to retire on their thrift store coffee mug finds. That is not to say that some coffee mugs aren't valuable but people were just straight up delusional about their coffee mug sales. Since it was a hot topic I decided to make a video on shipping coffee mugs. Some people would say this was way too much work to save a couple of bucks and maybe they are right but once you got used to the method it was very quick to alter the boxes and I am all about squeezing every penny out of my eBay sales. Most people waste tons of money by not knowing how to ship things.
On a side note, at the time that I made this video their was a rather large group of people who swore by what they called the "FOMO method" of shipping coffee mugs. Don't ask me what FOMO means but they would roll a piece of cardboard over a coffee mug and put it in a padded envelope to ship it. I have always despised both the laziness and carelessness of this method.
