Kind of upset that this is just barely too small to hold the rear handle saw. There is no elegant storage solution for it! (If you guys know one, let me know!)

That is unfortunate.  I guess Milwaukee is thinking everyone only using the rolling box or the large box for circular saws.

I can't say I have seen a good solution for storing the rear handle saw, but I have seen many packout  modification videos on YouTube.  You might want to take a look on there you might find a solution.
