Generac has provided specific information to help you identify if your generator is affected by this recall. The recall involves Generac Portable Generators of two types:

GP15000E: These generators have the following model numbers – G0057341, G0057342, 005734R1, and 005734R2.

GP17500E: These generators have the following model numbers – G0057351, G0057352, 005735R1, and 005735R2.

To check if your unit is included in this recall, look for the “Generac” name and unit type printed on both sides of the tank and on the control panel. These recalled generators were available at major home improvement and hardware stores nationwide, as well as various websites. They were sold between April 2011 through June 2023, with prices ranging between $3,300 and $3,650.
