It is part of the expanding Outdoor Adventure™ system, a series of cordless products that operate within the LXT® system.

The Makita Outdoor Adventure™ 18V LXT® Bluetooth® Radio and L.E.D. Lantern offers four LED lighting modes: 360° lantern, 3-sided lantern, flashlight, or strobe flashlight. It features three LED lighting color modes including daylight white, neutral white, and warm white, allowing you to set the environment from reading to relaxing. There are two lantern brightness settings from 130 lumens up to 310 lumens. The ADRM13 can provide up to 16 hours of continuous illumination in 360° lantern mode with a 5.0Ah 18V LXT® battery (battery and charger sold separately).

Convenience features include a foldable metal hang hook and handle with a rubber grip that provide easy transportation or hanging. The lantern guard also functions as an FM antenna. The tool features water and dust resistant construction for improved operation in outdoor conditions. It weighs only 3.4 lbs. with battery (battery not included) and measures only 11-3/8″ long for easy pack-in and pack-out.
