DEWALT, a subsidiary of Stanley Black & Decker, has unveiled its latest addition to the ATOMIC line-up – the ATOMIC COMPACT SERIES 20V MAX Brushless Cordless 1/2 inch Drill/Driver and Hammer Drill. These new tools are the shortest 20V MAX drill/driver and hammer drill in the company’s portfolio, with a tool head length of just 5.88 inches and 6.49 inches respectively. The tools are equipped with an LED work light, a 1/2″ ratcheting chuck for bit retention, and a variable speed trigger with 15 clutch settings. The DEWALT Atomic line-up is designed to optimize productivity in tight spaces without sacrificing power, making it an ideal choice for tackling tough jobs on the job site.
The drill/driver boasts 404 UWO and up to 1,650 RPM (no-load), while the hammer drill produces 552 UWO, with up to 28,050 BPMs and 1,650 RPM (no-load), making them ideal for tackling tough jobs in tight spaces.
According to DEWALT, the DCD794 drill/driver provides up to 16% more power than the DEWALT DCD771 with the DEWALT DCB203 battery, and the DCD799 hammer drill delivers up to 14% more power than the DEWALT DCD778 with the DEWALT DCB230 battery. The ATOMIC 20V MAX 1/2 inch Drill/Driver and Hammer Drill will be available in February as bare units or kits.
