Ryobi has announced the release of their new 18V ONE+ VERSE™ Clamp Speaker (PCL615B, PCL6152P, PCL615K1). The speaker, which can clamp onto a variety of surfaces, offers best-in-class Bluetooth® streaming range of over 250′, and has a runtime of over 32 hours. Additionally, the new product can connect with up to 100 other VERSE™ Clamp Speakers for a synchronized sound experience.

According to Ryobi’s website, the speaker is designed to work with any RYOBI 18V ONE+ Battery and is part of the ONE+ System of over 280 Cordless Products. It is also backed by a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.

The PCL615B 18V ONE+ VERSE™ Clamp Speaker features a 1-3/4″ clamp capacity that can attach to table tops, 2x4s, and other construction framing, as well as a pivoting head and rotating base for adjustable audio placement. It delivers “crisp, clear sound for an enhanced listening experience,” according to Ryobi.

The speaker is Bluetooth-compatible, allowing users to stream from one speaker or connect to other VERSE™ Clamp Speakers without the need for an app. This technology enables quick and easy connection without any external means.

Additionally, Ryobi claims that users can easily sync up to 100 VERSE™ Clamp Speakers together, offering a range of up to 150′ between additional VERSE™ speakers. The volume of each speaker can be adjusted independently or synchronized via the user’s device for a customized sound experience.

While the PCL615B 18V ONE+ VERSE™ Clamp Speaker is not weather-resistant, it can be used both indoors and outdoors, making it a versatile addition to any jobsite, home, or on-the-go setup. It will be available for purchase exclusively at Home Depot starting in May 2023. The speaker can be purchased as a bare tool, as a pair or as a kit.
