Recently Walmart has been rolling out some new offerings in their tool department. You will now be able to buy HART tools both in-store and online at Walmart.com! For those of you who don’t know HART is a TTI brand. Other TTI brands you may have heard of include Milwaukee, Ryobi, Empire, Stiletto, Homelite, etc.
Knowing that this new line up at Walmart is under the TTI umbrella of brands should give consumers confidence that we can expect a full line up of tools with at least a base level of quality. I have heard people mention that this move could devalue the HART brand of tools. I don’t think this is the case for 2 reasons. One a lot of your average home owners in America may have never even heard of HART and secondly Walmart has been trying to upgrade their tool offerings for over a year now. You may remember about a year ago they started a Pro Tools department which includes brands like Klein Tools, Kreg, Knipex, Gearwrench and more. This, alongside the new HART lineup of tools, tells me that Walmart has a high level of interest in upgrading their tool offerings.
