Harbor Freight has drastically reduced the number of coupons they release. The current trend is to release free item coupons that are only good for 1 weekend at a time. We will post those coupons on this page when they are available. I have used my SMARTPHONE, when it was emailed to me by them, and sometimes they use marker so you cannot use same one, but i print a whole bunch, right now I am stocking up on AA and AAA…..hehehheehe, got tons of real cheap things that I need, and get the free batteries….WALA. they seem like sometimes they getting pissed, but not much they can do about it. FREE COUPON doesn’t have on it yet…..not allowed to use if it no the original COUPON, so copies are allowed. And like i said, they have tons of small stuff, $10 and less, and even $5 and less, then your also getting the free items, one per day ain’t too bad now, nor too difficult to get around.
And those Batteries aint too bad, well not for free anyway, about those multi-meters, had them for a while also, they went bad on me, got a good one now, about $5, and,,…WALA…free batteries….LOL and sometimes if you have the coupon out, they even give you the discount coupon off along with the BATTERIES….LOL and who am i to complain?
Tin, i say go back and try again, maybe it was the person you dealt with, and they having a bad day, who knows, but they work…and if can do it, anyone can do it. I think they even beginning to know who I am. They ask for CELL NUMBER, i mumble…it is not in the system, then they proceed to ring my purchase. Got to watch what ya buy though, they do have, and have some junk in that place, just check out what ya buying before buying, i am sure youl’l be fine, just like with any other store….really.

ROBERT-SIMPLE then, i would not shop there,…again..maybe it was just that one or two that work there that were having a bad day, they cannot go beyond what is and is not on that COUPON, if I felt like it, just write to headquarters, and let em know what is going on, that may work!!!

they have been giving me my coupons back in the bag with my purchased items when i buy stuff.
you do know that you can use more than one coupon in a transaction depends on the cashier.. but if you need to look at the cheap kids toys like the build your own air plane or dinosaur out of wood for 1.99 then get your item for free. the best free item I got was the electric tennis racket that kills bugs and let me tell you it works.
The store in Winter Garden Florida will not accept a coupon without a phone number and an Email address, it happened to me 2 times already and I see many people in long lines bieng FORCED to give up all the info or – NO SALE—

if you use the struggleville search tool you can usually find the coupons not yet expired near the bottom of the search list.
Just noticed that on one of the magnetic tool bar coupons that it was listed as a U.S. General product; none of the other tool bar coupons say this. Is this actually a different magnetic bar?

@Leonardo Valero , i think you missed the question or thought the question was for you,it was not …I am very aware on how to redeem a coupon that i have to buy something with. If you have been following this site for very long you would know harbor freight has completely free coupons that you DO NOT have to but anything and our site admin has been nice enough to post them. So again @pj where have all the FREE (dont have to buy anything)coupons gone?
@Carmax…Maybe there are currently no “no purchase necessary” coupons in circulation. It’s not like the website administrator here prints them up. If you find some, submit them. We would gladly use them.
When you go to Harbor Freight to redeem a coupon that requires a purchase, buy something cheap like either a small paint brush, or a small wire brush. Each of those items cost less than a $1 each.
Leonardo Valero…..that is what i do, HECK, if ya need some other type of battery, like the 9V ones, or the 2525 ones, you know those flat ones, get those and you WALA get free whatever. for ME it is the batteries, AA and AAA…..hehehehe. [I dont get it, they have tons of stuff like $1-2, and ya get the free item/s.

At my harbor freight, I don’t even have to buy any additional item with the “with any purchase” coupons… I simply tell them, “that item is my purchase. the coupon I have for my purchase, just happens to make it free”… Works for me every time.

As a Harbor Freight employee…..I LOVE THIS SITE!!!! I typically take a coupon that a customer brings in and uses but with this site now I don’t have to worry about someone else throwing the coupon away before I get a chance to get my free item. I’ve had my eye on the multimeter for quite some time now as I am going to college to be an electrician and need one for my classes that start soon but didn’t want to pay for one so I know exactly what I’m using next time I go to work.Also because I’ve seen it a lot in the comments harbor freight uses coupons from anywhere as long as they are valid and we can only give ONE PER PERSON PER DAY I have people who try to get one of each and I have to tell them that and it sucks I don’t know why we so it but rules and rules. Jim, I’m a employee at Harbor freight too, the reason why we are limit one free item per day, A couple years back there was no limit on those free coupons and we would run out of everything that was free a lot of customers complain that we don’t have the stock, so now that is why there’s one free item per day.
Jen: i remember that happening, I was one of those that did that, took up a few free COUPONS, and before I knew it,…it had changed to one per day for using a “free coupon”, but ya know what, i have no problem with that, I really do not, but what about that ROBERT, and that store up in the ORLANDO area demanding number and email address if using a coupon, can they do that? i dont think that they can. but ill wait to hear what you say.

There are some that came out this week that do not require a purchase at all! I saw for the 4-in-1 screwdriver, the blue style LED flashlight, and for the 24 pack of batteries! Keep a look-out.

I see some coupons are out dated
My store will allow only one free item whether or not you have a no purchase necessary or free with purchase coupon. Is this normal? I would have thought you could get one of each.
The fine print of the coupons say limit one free gift coupon per day.
Harbor freight changed their rules if the coupon so not on their website they won’t accept it. Just FYI tried using these coupons today 11/6/16 and they refused to use them because they are from this site, not the harbor freight official site.

That’s not true Harbor Freight accepts any coupon as long as it is valid, as in not expired or it’s the correct item. 20% coupons have restrictions but clearly states which products are excluded. Coupons can be paper mailed coupons, e-mail, screen shot of code and Item or other websites with the correct code.
If you screenshot them but you don’t want to waste paper so put all of them on word and print out can I still use them at the store ?
yes. i just write down the code and bring it with me to harbor freight. Make sure you pick the right item though – (the “item code” on coupon matches the item code in store) HB has many products of the same thing but of different codes. sometimes you have to dig to find the one with the code that matches the coupon you have.
I work at harbor freight we will honor all coupon codeas long as the codes are valid regardless of where they come from
