This light is only $6.49 with free shipping (they also have quantity discounts on the offer page). What caught my eye is that it has magnets on that back. It is advertised as under cabinet lighting but with the magnets I bet it would be a nice cheap light for automotive use. If the magnets aren’t strong enough you could always glue on stronger ones.
