Lately we have posted several deals from Woot however this week is special because Woot is celebrating their 16th birthday by having a giveaway and some pretty AMAZING deals. For anyone who is not yet aware Woot is an Amazon company which means Prime members get free shipping on any deals they snag on Woot.

The first thing to know about this birthday extravaganza is that Woot is giving away 16 Bags of Crap. (Their words not mine.) Not sure I would classify it as crap since each winner is getting a $100 Amazon gift card and a $100 Woot coupon card among other things. This giveaway is going on until July 19, 2020 at 4pm CST. Tuesday the 14th may be the most interesting of the birthday party. Tuesday is what Woot calls Totally Fun Pricing (WTF). Here is what they say about it, “We’ll launch FOUR products with extremely-limited quantities for $1, then keep raising the price and adding quantities over the next hour or so, until we’re sold out.” I’m assuming details will be on the Woot homepage. (They are going to do the same thing on Wednesday.) You know I will be sitting on my computer refreshing the page to see what I might be able to snag for $1.

The mixture of SAE and metric fasteners can be a real head ache. First you have to determine which is meant to be used on the fastener then you have to hope you have that wrench or socket. Many of the sizes are actually interchangeable… or close enough to work in many instances. Below is a conversion chart that may help you out. So the next time you can’t find a 15mm you will know that you can probably use a 19/32. (Its the one that looks brand new, almost like its never been used before.)
