I have always avoided the YMMV type of deals on the main portion of this site because they can be hard to find in stores and therefore irrelevant to many people. I know some people love “the hunt” of YMMV deals and you can certainly get some AMAZING deals if you happen to find a store with the item in stock. That being said I will start posting YMMV deals and they will all appear on the forum!

In addition to the deals section we also have a shop talk section. Post your tool hauls, your new tool pick ups, ask questions, answer polls, share what you are working on. Its the home for anything to do with the shop or garage.

We have a Youtube section. If you see a tool, automotive or home improvement related Youtube video that you think others would enjoy feel free to share it! And if you are a Youtube creator you can post your own related videos there too!

The mixture of SAE and metric fasteners can be a real head ache. First you have to determine which is meant to be used on the fastener then you have to hope you have that wrench or socket. Many of the sizes are actually interchangeable… or close enough to work in many instances. Below is a conversion chart that may help you out. So the next time you can’t find a 15mm you will know that you can probably use a 19/32. (Its the one that looks brand new, almost like its never been used before.)
